• Summer Training Course @ BERC Mumbai
Bio Engineering & Research Centre (BERC) had recently successfully conducted a summer course on Advanced Techniques in Biotechnology. The 3-week long program ending June 2006 had 18 students from various well-known colleges of Mumbai.
The program consisted of lectures and practicals in various disciplines of Biotechnology ranging from basics, advanced and applied biotechnology. Certificates from BERC were awarded to all the participants on the successful completion of the workshop.
BERC regularly conducts such programs that reflects a global outlook and is envisioned to produce professional achievers in the field of biotechnology. The conduction of this short course for outside students has been a very enriching and an encouraging experience for all the faculty and staff members involved.
