Infrastructure

The colleges are located in modern purpose-built campuses pan-India. BERC campuses are in the process of developing new facilities. This means that we are able to offer some of the most modern facilities available to students.
BERC campuses are equipped with excellent laboratories, containing state-of-the-art equipments for our students. The students are taught with the help of lectures, tutorials and practical work. There are also facilities for computer-assisted self learning. Practical classes take place in our teaching laboratories. Practical classes allow you to become familiar with living systems, to develop the ability to handle equipment, to interpret and manipulate data, to design experiments, and to experience working in a team.

Facilities

BERC campuses have fully air-conditioned classrooms. Audio-visual teaching and presentation aids like cordless mikes, LCD projection system, advanced public address system and video cameras add to the institute's instructional and training capabilities.

Computer Lab

BERC has the latest state-of-the-art Computer Lab and during the course of studies students will spend a considerable amount of time in computer lab. Round-the-clock Internet facility mixes well with the strong software support in the areas of advanced computing and programming, applications and database management.

Library

library is the backbone of academic activities of any institute. In BERC campuses the libraries house a collection of text and reference books, journals, magazines, audio/videos, CD-ROMs, research reports and industrial reports. They have a collection of books in all areas of information technology, applied sciences and allied branches.
The library is fully classified and catalogued, and users can search for information on their own. Photocopying facilities are available within the library for user convenience. The libraries subscribe to journals of national and international repute.

Laboratory Facility:

As the Centre believes in providing skills, no compromise has been made in the Laboratory Facilities. The college has rich laboratory resources for conducting various biotechnology practicals. It has five different biotech labs viz; Pasteur’s Lab, Mullin’s Lab, Watson’s Lab, Franklin’s Lab and Khurana’s Lab, covering a total area of 380 square meters. It has one of the best instrumentation facilities which include: CO₂ Incubator, BOD Incubators, PCR machines, Fermenter, Refrigerated Centrifuge, Deep freezers etc. Most DNA and protein works, viz: isolation, purification, transformation and cloning are easily performed in the labs. Use of techniques like chromatography, centrifugation, and spectrophotometric analysis are among routine jobs. Students are given hands-on experience on minor details like pipetting exercises to major experiments like performing DNA amplification.
